I give up!
Sometimes I true wonder what millions of year of evolution has truly achieved. Will mankind ever be able to ascend the next evolutionary rung and finally garner a healthy dose of logic and maybe even common sense?
(I always maintain that people just need to use their common sense a bit more!)
Why won’t a perfectly logical (in the eyes of this blogger’s) point be thought upon for more than a few seconds and maybe even accepted by those with their nigh-unassailable faith of whatever issue out there.
Take sports for an instance! I never could understand why football fans can turn into hooligans in a blink of an eye? Why can’t they except loss/defeat or even a win without making a fuss, jumping up and proclaiming the superiority, the righteousness of their favorite team/player/champion?
Why doesn’t logic, thought to everyone as being infallible when applied truthfully and properly, not matter to these people when the doubts, questions and accusations are presented against their idols?
Maybe I’m rambling here and should just close this chapter and move on with life.
But for the life of me I can’t seem to stop thinking how the inner working of the minds of people such as these are capable of deluding (once again only the opinion of this blogger) themselves to the carefully laid out arguments and proof!
They always say that life is never an easy journey. What you don’t know, what’s written in the fine/miniscule line at the bottom, is that you can’t really begin to fathom the complexity life presents us everyday as hurdles we much cross to move one.
Not in one lifetime, maybe even not in a hundred lifetimes.
